Can I join?
To qualify for HOFTEL membership, you have to be a company that owns hotels and either rents them out to hotel operators or pays a fee to a hotel management or franchise company. If you operate hotels for third parties, even if you own your own properties too, sorry, but you're not eligible. Similarly, interim asset managers without assets of their own cannot be members. HOFTEL is a dedicated group for dedicated hotel owners.

Annual conference
Hosted by members, on a rotating basis, this is an exclusive gathering of senior executives from our members, our sponsors and invited guests. Conferences in the last two years were in Amsterdam and Helsinki.
Hotel Owners Journal
A quarterly publication, compiled by Andrew Sangster the editor of Hotel Analyst magazine. The Journal carries editorial and comment, news about the sector, profiles of members, useful thoughts from our sponsors and value-added “best practice” tips for hotel owners.
Annual Berlin meeting
HOFTEL hosts a discussion meeting or drinks party annually at the IHIF (“Berlin Conference”) to which members, sponsors and a wide array of hotel real estate investors are invited.
Access to sponsors
Members have enhanced access to our sponsors for informal advice.
Discounts
Members receive a discount of 10% on the annual subscription to Hotel Analyst Magazine. Maxwell Winward offers HOFTEL members a £1,000 discount off the first legal assignment and HVS International 10% off the normal price an appraisal or feasibility. More discounts will be negotiated over time.
